About Flo
Hi, beautiful…
I’m Flo, the decluttering gal and writer behind MsFloMoore. I’m an OKC declutter and home organization blogger, declutter enthusiast, traveler, flower lover, and crafter. Most of all, I’m the sweetheart of the most amazing man on the planet. Happily, I live out my passion every day helping women declutter and organize their homes, and restore their peace.
And before anything else, I want you to know this: I didn’t start decluttering because I loved organizing or wanted a perfect home.

I started because I was in debt, exhausted, and overwhelmed—and something had to give.
Five years ago, I was running a household, barely making it through the day, and carrying a lot of financial stress. I wasn’t sleeping well. My brain never shut off. And everywhere I looked in my house, I felt the weight of it.
One night, after another sleepless evening, I remembered a question a life coach had once asked me: What if you got rid of some stuff?
The idea wasn’t dramatic. It wasn’t about minimalism or aesthetics. It was just… maybe I’d feel lighter.
So I started right there, in the middle of the night, with my master bedroom closet. I opened the doors, pulled things off hangers, folded some into a pile, and made a small stack to sell. Then another. And another.
Over time, I sold, donated, and tossed household items I hadn’t used in years—things I once thought I needed to keep. And something unexpected happened.
That clutter turned into extra money. That extra money helped me pay down debt. And as the stuff left, the pressure started to ease.
Slowly, my habits changed too. I shopped less because I didn’t want more to manage. The house took less time to clean. I could sit on the sofa with a cup of tea and actually relax instead of moving piles from one place to another.
Evenings stopped feeling frantic.
They started feeling calm.
That’s when I realized decluttering wasn’t just about the house.
It was about creating breathing room—in my finances, my time, and my life.
That experience is why I’m here now.
If your home feels heavy and you’re not sure where to begin, please hear this:
You’re not lazy.
You’re not failing.
You’re just carrying too much.
And I’m here to help you start letting it go—one small, doable step at a time.
And, I am so so so glad, you are here.

- Loss: On July 29, 2023 we lost my little three year old nephew in a sudden (and tragic) accident, and life forever would change. To begin to explain the heartache and pain… I started writing hand-written letters and would post on the blog. You can learn more about experience here.
- Prayer: My blog, originally intended to be called The Praying Gal, came from my relationship of growing closer to the Lord – from prayer, to encouragement from family & friends, to Christian books I love. Take a peek here.
