Hi There, I’m Flo!
I’m Flo, the decluttering gal and writer behind MsFloMoore. I am an Oklahoma City-based declutter and organizing blogger, flower lover, and drawer. Most of all, I am a sweetheart to the most amazing man on the planet. Happily, I live my passion out everyday helping women declutter and organize homes.
But I’m also a busy gal and hopeful wife & mom (fingers crossed, toes too), a daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and friend. I’m a accidental minimalist, prayer warrior, a wannabe gardener, a flower lover, and a big fan of traveling, lavender tea, and oatmeal raisin cookies. (Mmmmmm….cookies….)

But it’s never that easy, now is it? We don’t just blow on some ferry dust, and poof what we are dreaming for magically appears.
Five years ago, I was in-debt, exhausted and running a household, barely making it through the day.
My minimalist journey continues
And my house showed it.
Drawers were full. Closets were packed. Shelves were overflowing — not because I loved the things, but because I was scared to let them go.
The turning point came when I realized that keeping things out of fear wasn’t actually helping me. It wasn’t saving money. It wasn’t creating security. It was just creating clutter and stress.
Once I started letting go — slowly, intentionally — something shifted. I learned that I didn’t need a house full of “just in case” items to feel safe. I needed clarity, space, and trust that I could handle whatever came next.
Minimalism helped me see that my home didn’t need to hold my fear. It could hold peace instead.

And my house showed it.
Drawers were full. Closets were packed. Shelves were overflowing — not because I loved the things, but because I was scared to let them go.
So I began with what was right in front of me. I pulled a few things off hangers, folded some into a pile, and made a small stack to sell. Then another. And another.
A minimalist lifestyle allowed me to:
- pay off $45,000 of medical debt and another $4,000 in credit card debt
- extreme-declutter my entire home, including 15 years of emotional clutter
- find eco-friendly ways to get rid of clutter — including the $11,000 I made selling it
- feel more relaxed and at peace in my home
- and touch the lives of so many through this Amazing Well Spending Less blog
Minimalism didn’t give me a perfect home — it gave me a clear mind, a healthier bank account, and a calmer life.
A minimalist lifestyle can make your life better in so many ways!
Modern life is full of clutter — the piles in our homes, the endless tabs on our screens, and the worries that sit heavy in our hearts. And whether we notice it or not, all that clutter takes a toll.
Less stuff means fewer worries.
It means more time for your family and more money in the bank.
When you clear your physical and mental space to make room in your life for things that bring you joy, you will find that you have more freedom.
- Freedom from guilt and grief.
- Freedom from stress and overwhelm.
- Freedom from fear and anxiety.
- And, even financial freedom!!

Going Deeper
Along with all the easy-to-implement tips and strategies for saving time and money, I also use the blog to share bits and pieces of my life outside this – from photos of my hand-lettered chalk art, to stories of my little nephew, to love & respect husband and wives desire.

Loss: On July 29, 2023 we lost my little three year old nephew, and from that moment onwards life would forever change; a piece of my heart broke. I have shared about this journey on the blog and have found so many meaningful connections with readers on Facebook. You can read more here.

Love & Marriage: A personal goal was pouring into learning about the love a wife desires and the respect a husband needs, along with reading books on how to have a successful marriage with Christ at the center—because a strong marriage isn’t something you arrive at once, it’s a lifelong practice of love, respect, and faith. Take a look here.
Minimalism changed my life
There was a season when I kept almost everything because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to afford it again. It didn’t matter if something was old, unused, or a duplicate — if it came into my house, I held onto it “just in case.”
At the time, it felt responsible. It felt smart. It felt like the safe thing to do.
But looking back, it was really coming from fear. I had gone through enough times of not having much, so the idea of letting something go made me anxious. If I got rid of it, what if I needed it later? What if I couldn’t replace it? What if money was tight again?
So I saved everything. Extra kitchen tools. Old clothes. Half-used products. Backup items for my backups. If it was still “good,” I convinced myself I might need it someday.
- Loss: We’ll dig deep into your vision and values to create a clear path forward that feels authentic to you.
- Love & Marriage: I’ll guide you in creating offers that reflect your worth and help you feel empowered to charge with confidence.
- Chalk Drawing: Together, we’ll develop strategies for growing your business without sacrificing the reasons you started it in the first place.
I love butter tarts, hand-written Christmas cards, white sand in my toes, airplanes, and and …. planners make me happy, I talk way too much, and relish in quite time with God daily – bible, prayer journal, and my three favorite books in hand… (it’s a lot to carry especially when I go to a coffee shop!)
After a season of feeling lost and weary, I prayed—really prayed—for clarity. I wanted to prepare my heart and my home to be a stay-at-home wife and mom, but I didn’t know where to begin.
What I did know was simple: I wanted to save for a minivan that could one day carry my future babies (and step-kids, if that’s what God had planned). I wanted to learn how to get more done in less time, to pay off debt, and spend less so I could give more. I wanted to find a way to feel peace instead of pressure—to create a plan that left room for joy, not just tasks.
