January Coffee Date – 2026
It’s time.
Time for one of those coffee dates — the kind where we sit down together and I dish on all the latest happenings in my life.
Jumping up and down excited.
Hi! Hi. I’ve missed this.
If you’ve been around for a while, you know these coffee dates used to be a regular thing — back when my focus was more on budgeting. Somewhere along the way, life got full (in the best and hardest ways), and it’s been forever since I wrote one of these.
So grab your beverage of choice — there’s a lot to catch up on. 💗
What I’ve Been Up To Lately
If it feels like I’ve been here, there, and everywhere lately… you’re not wrong.
I’ve been spending a lot of time right here on Ms Flo Moore, responding to reels on Facebook and msflomooreblog Instagram, creating the very first round of decluttering digital products, setting up a home organizing & decluttering Facebook group, and trying my hand at going live inside the group (deep breaths 😅). I’ve also been doing more videos than ever before.
It’s been full. And good. And a little wild.
One thing I have noticed? I’m getting more sleep these days. I used to be up at 4:30 or 5:00 a.m., and now it’s closer to 6:00 — which my body seems to really appreciate. Turns out rest is holy too.
What I’m Drinking ☕ (Well… Kind Of)
At this very moment, I’m sipping on a protein smoothie that’s replaced my usual breakfast.
I’ve learned the hard way that most proteins upset my stomach, so I stick with plant-based protein. This one has almond milk, avocado, banana, and unsweetened cocoa. The banana is really what makes it creamy and naturally sweet.
We’ll see how it goes as part of my weight-loss journey — but so far, so good.
My Relationship 🤍

Relationships are beautiful… and stretching.
I’ve been learning a lot about respect, surrender, and allowing a man to lead — the way God designed leadership in the home.
Right now, my boyfriend’s travel schedule is intense — 28 out of 30 days a month, both across the U.S. and internationally. His workdays have shifted from five days a week to seven, often 100-hour weeks.
It’s not easy.
I find myself on my knees a lot, praying for wisdom and direction. I’ve been reading The Praying Wife — even though I’m not his wife yet (still waiting on the ring 💍😉).
It’s been about ten days since I last saw him, and I miss him deeply. I never imagined dating would turn into long-distance or that work hours would change so drastically — but here we are.
Our last afternoon together was simple and perfect. We sat on the couch, talked about travel and Christmas, cuddled for a bit, and then it was time for him to go. It was blissful — even in its brevity.
His kidney disease has been taking a toll, and we’re hoping medical leave will be approved soon. At the same time, I’m learning how to sit with feeling stretched — trusting that where God guides, He provides (Isaiah 58:11).
I’m also learning how to cook more kidney-friendly meals — including a recent apple experiment that turned out delish! Green apples, lemon juice, real maple syrup, ten minutes on the stove. So good… and can’t wait to make it for him.
The Viral Reels 😳✨

Okay… deep breath.
I’ve been praying — really praying — asking God for direction in this business. God, show me. God, tell me. I’ve been re-reading the praying the Prayer of Jabez book and praying the Prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:10), asking Him to enlarge my territory and guide my steps.
And then… Christmas Eve happened.
On December 24th at 9:30 a.m., one of my videos went viral. In six days, my Facebook following grew by 10,000 people. That one video now has over 5,000 comments. Everything grew — fast — and it was completely unexpected.
All the glory goes to God. Truly.
Then, just a few days ago, another video took off. Within 48 hours, it reached 900,000 views, with comments climbing past 3,500. It’s winding down now, but I’m still in awe.
What people seem to resonate with most is this:
I’m not about super fancy bins in every corner of the house. I do believe in bins — just sparingly. I’m not chasing a Pinterest-perfect home. I care about creating a home that feels lighter, wider, and more peaceful.
Decluttering changed everything for me. I take about 30 minutes a day to clean because my home is set up to support real life. My peace and joy were restored — and that’s what I want for others too.
MY FAV ThING IN LIFE COACHING I’m LEARNING Right Now

One of the biggest gifts in my life these past few years is Edie’s life mentoring school.
I’m brining it into my monthly check-in’s with y’all. People ask, what in the world is life coaching? Why do you need a life coach?! In a nut shell – life coaching teaches you how to manage your mind so your thoughts and emotions stop controlling your results. When you learn this skill, you can change anything — your work, your relationships, your income, your confidence.
Soooo, this month, what stood out most was the idea of closing loops from Susan Shull (one of the two Christian life coaching gals whose made a profound impact on growing msflomoore blog.
Open loops are promises you made to yourself that you haven’t kept yet.
Little nudges from God. Tiny callings. Stuff you keep thinking, “I really should…” But you don’t. So they just… sit there. And every unfinished thing quietly whispers:
👉 You’re behind.
👉 You’re not doing what you said.
👉 You’re dropping the ball.
Not loud. Just a low hum of heaviness. That’s the fatigue. Not work fatigue. Soul fatigue.
Every time we ignore something God has gently placed on our heart, it creates this tiny weight we carry around — and most of the time, we don’t even realize we’re carrying it.
It’s not really about productivity. It’s about alignment. Because when you finally do the thing — even for just fifteen minutes — something shifts.
✨ relief
✨ clarity
✨ peace
✨ energy returns
Your heart goes, “Ahhh… I’m back in integrity.” That’s what it feels like to close the loop.
I Have a Living Room 😍

After what feels like forever, my living room is finally finished.
- Laminate flooring installed
- Curtains and rods hung
- New furniture: TV, stand, coffee table, sofa, area rug
- Fireplace white-washed
Walking into a finished, clutter-free living room feels incredible. It’s light. Peaceful. A joy to come home to.
Most of it came from thrift stores or Facebook Marketplace — proof that beautiful doesn’t have to mean expensive.

Joyfully Home 🌼
When I came home from Christmas travels, I walked into my house and felt a deep exhale. On one of my walls hangs a piece I found in the wedding section at Hobby Lobby — a subtle reminder that home matters to me.
It made me think of Dorothy and the red shoes.

All along, what she was searching for… she already had.
That’s what Joyfully Home is about.
I’m launching a Joyfully Home product line — resources to help you declutter and organize your home with peace, not pressure. This will also be the heart of the Decluttering Academy coming this spring.
Joy isn’t something we chase. Sometimes it’s already right where we are.
Thanks for sitting with me today. Thanks for the coffee date. And by the way…
👉 Here’s the video that’s currently going viral — 900,000 views in 48 hours. 😉
With love,
Flo 💛
